Breast lift surgery results in a ring-shaped scar around the nipple, straight down the midline, and continuing along the lower crease of the breast. We want to stand up and walk a few hours after the end of the surgery. If your profession is not performed with intense physical labor, you can return to work within 7 days. After 4 weeks, you can do cardio-heavy sports such as walking and cycling, and after 6 weeks you can start lifting weights.
We recommend quitting smoking 4-6 weeks before breast reduction surgery and not smoking for at least 4-8 weeks afterward.
Patients over the age of 18 who do not expect to breastfeed and who have not been found to be impaired in the preoperative ultrasound examination are suitable candidates for this surgery.
The first 2 days may be relatively uncomfortable, but with strong painkillers, the pain decreases rapidly and the patient regains pre-operative comfort in a short time.
