Face lift

Face lift is an operation aiming to rejuvenate the face skin and facial contour affected by the aging process. This surgery affects the middle and lower part of the face. It does not cover the forehead and eye area. It is aimed to remove the drooping on the cheeks, to sharpen the jaw line and to reduce the deepened lines on the mouth edges. We often perform facelift and necklift at the same session. Rejuvenation is also provided for the neck. Face lift surgery is performed with an incision made in front of the ear. The scar starts from the hair in the temporal area and extends to the earlobe. If  we perform face and neck lift, the incision extends to the back of the ear.

Aging not only wrinkles our skin. The volume loss of the fat pads and soft tissues on the face is one of the effects of aging. For patients with volume loss, a tired and inanimate appearance occurs on the face. We recommend fat injection to the face for this patient group.

I do not prefer to perform face and neck lift surgeries with local anesthesia. I always do a face-neck lift under general anesthesia. We want you to wear a face corset for 3 weeks after surgery.

Although there is no absolute obstacle, it is an operation that we do not recommend to patients under the age of 40. For patients younger than 40 years of age, non -surgical methods are more preferred.
